Being a substitute Soul reaper or a Shinigami, Ichigo’s duty is to kill hollows and yet he feels hesitant in doing so. With the hollow incidents on the rise, Ichigo finds himself fighting one almost every day. In the meanwhile, Rukia seems to have broke the soul societies laws and is now on the run.
Amidst this chaos, Ichigo learns that it was a hollow that killed his mother and the mysterious circumstances around her death hound him.
