In Volume 2, Denji faces even more formidable enemies and uncovers the secrets of the Devil Hunting organization he works for. The manga explores his complex relationships with other Devil Hunters, particularly his companions Power and Aki. Their interactions become more nuanced as their personalities and pasts are further revealed. The tension and camaraderie among this unlikely team add layers of depth to the story.

In this volume, Denji fights against other demons such as Bat Devil, and Leech Devil. Power had made a deal with Bat Devil in the previous volume, where this demon had kidnapped Power’s pet cat, and made a bargain to feed the demon the body of humans and then only will he let the cat go. This volume goes into the battle that ensues to rescue both Power and her pet cat. It is also followed by Bat Devil’s lover – Leech Devil, who finds Denji to be attractive and spares his life, but decides to attack Power and Meowy.

Volume 2 also unveils more about the nature of devils, the origin of their powers, and the mysteries surrounding their existence. As Denji learns more about his own abilities and the world around him, he becomes entangled in a larger conflict that could have dire consequences for humanity.
